Brother:
A list of Alumni who have volunteered to breathe new life into Psi
Chapter is attached. This group is focused on implementing a strategic plan in support
of re-colonizing Psi Chapter.
We are writing with two
objectives. First, we wish to update Psi
Chapter Alumni on the on-going re-colonization efforts.
Second, we wish to provide opportunities for your participation in the process.
Four exciting
milestones occurred since the closure of Psi Chapter!
Dr. Patricia Poteat, President, Bethany College, officially declared she
would
pledge to work with [Psi Alumni] in support of this effort
Dr. Poteat made this commitment in a letter written to Psi Alumni and the Board of
Trustees of Beta Theta Pi. In June, we
launched our new PsiBeta.net web site. In
October, Twenty-five Psi Alumni brothers met at Bethany College for a general meeting on
Homecoming Weekend and a re-colonization plan was announced.
The proceedings are on the web site with sound and pictures! Finally, a group of
dedicated brothers is returning to Church Street to cleanup the house on
November 22!
Please consider a role
in:
The re-colonization of
the chapter (planning and execution)
Establishing contact with
brothers (phone and e-mail)
Organizing alumni events
Maintaining
the chapter house
Raising
funds
The rewards of
volunteering are everlasting to you and those you touch. If you are unable to attend the
chapter house cleanup on November 22, please make a donation to the Psi Diamond
Association to show your support. Thank you in
advance for your support and generosity.
