David CottingtonPsi Actives Report from

May 4, 2006

Brothers,

The final chapter meeting for the spring was held on 5/2/2006 at the house. All seniors passed their comprehensive exams. All other brothers were either finished with their finals or had one more to go. We should have their GPA's sometime in the next few weeks. I have a feeling we will be over the 3.30 fall GPA!!!!!

Twelve bids were handed out and and a follow-up BBQ was held 4/27/06. We should have 5-7 pledges for the fall prior to the fall rush. All meet the criteria regarding GPA, community involvement and the rest of the MOP outline.

During the summer, I will be in contact with the active brothers via e-mail. Goals for the fall include rush, pledge education, homecoming and community service. We have a great opportunity to make a huge impact on campus and to lead the way on changes to Greek Life. The brothers see the opportunity and are fired up for the fall. Their first trophy is now in the trophy case. They won the first Greek Olympics and plan on keeping the trophy at the house next year.

Brothers, we all should be proud of our accomplishment and look forward to the next year. Thank you all for your support, encouragement, time and efforts to make the return of Psi a reality, not just a dream.

David
