Brothers,
I have finally come down from my excitement of realizing the goal of
getting our charter back. Thank you all who have worked so long and
tirelessly in achieving this moment. What is amazing and needs to be
communicated to all Psi Beta's is how this group of young men achieved
their Charter. They received a Sisson Award, one of the highest awards
you can receive as a Chapter. They were one of 28 Chapters out of 118 of
Beta chapters to be recognized for this award. They were one of 16
Chapters to receive the Risk management award, one of 23 to receive the
Virginia Tech award for academics and one of 23 to receive the Charles
Henry Hardin award for sending the highest percentage of men to
leadership programs. These actives and Founding Fathers placed Psi
Chapter in the top 20% of ALL BETA CHAPTERS NATIONWIDE. This is an
incredible achievement, and one that needs to be recognized and
celebrated.
