Greek Hill Renamed Bado Place During Homecoming
During Bethany College’s 2012 Homecoming Weekend, Greek hill was reestablished as Bado Place during a dedication ceremony held the morning of Oct. 6.

Members of the Bado family have graduated from Bethany across five decades since the 1950s. Their campus activities, notably within the Greek community, have been indicative of their love for Alma Mater, their willingness to serve, and their generous spirit as Bethanians. They have also excelled beyond our campus as professionals in a variety of fields including education and business.

George Walter Bado ’50 was a member of Phi Kappa Tau; Sally Schreiver Bado ’50 was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha; George McKenzie Bado ’77 was a member of Phi Kappa Tau; Angela Ryder Bado ’77 was a member of Phi Mu; Mark Alan Bado ’87 was a member of Beta Theta Pi; and Matthew Schreiver Bado ’01 was a member of Sigma Nu.
