Bethany College awarded many of its exemplary students,
faculty and staff with a variety of college-wide and departmental awards
on April 18 during its annual Honors Day celebrations. The recipients,
selected based on their demonstration of outstanding scholarship and
other contributions to the College, were presented with their awards
during the Honors Day Convocation held in Commencement Hall in Bethany's
historic Old Main.
We received the Woolery
Cup by retaining the highest fraternity GPA for the fall semester.
We received the Fraternity of the Year award
and the Excellence in New Member Education award. Cody
Mcelhaney received the "Unsung Hero" award by nomination of chapter
advisor. Finally, we received the Fraternity of
the Year for service by the Service Learning Center.
